True Servanthood

While the Old Testament laws on slavery may seem foreign or troubling to us today, they were given to regulate a fallen society with mercy and justice, showing God’s concern for the dignity and rights of every person. In Christ, we find the ultimate example of servant leadership, called not to dominate but to love and serve others freely and sacrificially.

Robbing God and Man

The eighth commandment, “You shall not steal,” extends far beyond taking physical possessions; it calls us to recognize that all we have is ultimately God’s and to live as faithful stewards who share generously and live honestly. As sinners who have fallen short by robbing both our neighbors and God, we find mercy and hope in Christ, who restores us and calls us to belong wholly to Him in gratitude and obedience.

Holy Matrimony

God created marriage as a blessed, lifelong union between one man and one woman, the essential building block of society. This sermon unpacks how the Seventh Commandment is a gift intended to protect this sacred institution. We discuss how all sexual activity outside of the covenant of marriage is sin, and why we must resist the world’s false, permissive views on sex.
